Last Day

Our final day of class, which ended at 1130am, and then some of use were supposed to catch a bus to Nairobi at 12, which ended up becoming 230. Tomi gave me a dress from Nigeria, where she is from. first pic is me and Tomi, second one is me and Lady Dana, one my favourite yanks (loz u r one too!)

Nyasha, from Zimbabwe, he works for ADRA Mozambique. me, Jair, from Bolivia, working for ADRA Mozambique too. Randall, from South Africa, he is a minister, and he is the country director for ADRA South Africa. haha he kept teasing me about setting me up with his son.

Banquet

The final night all the students had together we had a banquet with meat (allegedly it was meat, I would call it skin on a bone) which excited most of the students who had been forced into vegetarianism by the sevvie Andrews policies. I volunteered to cook cakes, as my past experience with the food created errr scepticism of quality. Everyone loved them and several asked for the recipe, I am pleased to modestly say haha Everyone sang, talked or performed in someway. I sang with my friend Tomi (far left) and a few others. Strangely, several people said Tomi and I look like twins... I don't see it. Some people dressed up, I didnt have time,
as I snuck off to the market to buy presents, and then had to finsh off the cakes. The first photo is of Dana, an American in Ghanaian dress, and ZamZam the girl who served us our meals, she was very friendly, Tomi and the guy is Dana's fiancee, he is Kenyan, the met during the class last year awww.

Stacey

Stacey is the adopted daughter of the ADRA director. She is 4 and was very curious about the people studying on her compound. She was the cutest thing and would get me to try and catch her and spin her round.

ADRA Monkeys

These monkeys lived in the trees at the ADRA compond where we studied. This male has blue testicles. Strangely enough he seemed to enjoy being on camera and even put on a little show for me with his female friend.

Random 2

Between the zebras in the second pic is a jackal. The third pic has a hippo in the grass. The last pic is 2 ostriches, one male one female, just sitting apart from each other.

Birds 2

Ok the tiny pink specs in the background are flamingoes, not sure wat the next birds are, and yes the golden blobs are lions =D Net is an ostrich, and don't know the last one

So first is pink pelicans we saw them before we went to the crater. The next birds are all ostriches, a male with a few females, there were just standing in the middle of a group of zebras and wildebeest doing nothing special. Then were the secretary birds, apprently they are scavengers. Lastly I dont know what they are but they have funky head feathers!

In the first pic, the closest zebra is pregnant, its so huge! The pic with the baby you can see its hair, the stripes arent really that black either more of a brown colour.

The photos that are published down the bottom were my first view of the park, zebras were very common to see but I still got excited. the babies are very cute and their hair is furry, not smooth skin the adults

crater

This is the scenery in the crater, its quite dry becuase its not rainy season. but on the positive
side the grass is shorter making it easier to see animals.
